In this Assistant Director of Talent Acquisition position, you will play a critical role in driving successful recruitment outcomes by managing full cycle recruitment for the Advancement team. You will be responsible for the implementation and integration of key talent processes across the division including, but not limited to employee engagement and DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) initiatives, workforce design and planning initiatives, and performance management, including employee relations and other projects.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle recruitment process for designated open positions including coordination with the hiring manager and human resources team to ensure a smooth recruitment process.
- Proactively build a talent pipeline for current and future staffing needs.
- Coach and provide guidance to hiring managers throughout the search and selection process, including a review of job descriptions, how to conduct interviews and evaluate candidates.
- Ensure a professional, positive, and timely candidate experience by maintaining ongoing communication and securing feedback both during the recruitment process and thereafter.
- Create offer letters, maintain applicant tracking system, run recruitment related reports, and other staffing administration functions. Conduct and thoroughly review the results of all background investigations. Coordinate, conduct, and document references.
- Prepare documents and communications necessary for interview committees and candidates, such as interview itineraries, directions, resumes, and other documents.
- Responsible for updating and tracking job postings in various medias including internet/intranet sites, social networks, community, and job boards.
- Participate in new hire Day One orientation and serve as a backup as needed.
- Serve as a strategic partner through coaching/consultation with managers and employees on employee relations issues including career conversations, performance, harassment, etc.
- Participate, develop, and assist with implementation of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) initiatives and projects.
- Run regular metric reports and analyze data focused on recruitment/candidate pipeline initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Demonstrated ability to communicate/interact effectively with individuals via phone, video, and in person.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment process recruitment principles, and candidate experience.
- Understanding of applicable federal and state employment laws.
- Demonstrates the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with integrity and discretion.
