The individual serves the Department of Athletics as the Assistant Director of Recruiting for Women’s Basketball, reporting directly to the Head Women’s Basketball Coach. This individual is responsible for coordinating all recruiting organization and planning efforts, including the preparation of all recruiting efforts relating to campus visits, the development and oversight of logistics for on-campus recruiting visits for prospective student-athletes, and any additional assistance to Head and Assistant coaches in the area of recruiting as deemed necessary.

The individual will also be responsible for implementing and executing the recruiting marketing and correspondence plan (daily mail, social media creations, high school coach correspondence, etc.), ordering and managing recruiting services for Head and Assistant coaches, managing the prospective student-athlete database and video library, organizing recruiting files and communication logs to ensure compliance with all applicable NCAA rules, and developing relationships and serving as the liaison with numerous university-wide and athletic internal departments and other groups. In the administration role, the individual is responsible for overseeing alumni relations efforts as well as donor and fan engagement and experiences.


An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted as determined by the University. 2-3 years of experience working or playing in college and/or professional basketball is acceptable.
