Description | Assistant Director of Graduate/Professional Financial Aid Operations will manage, lead and provide hands-on direction to the team responsible for administering all graduate and professional financial aid program/funds from all sources including University, private scholarships, federal Title IV and other funds, state grants and various loan funds. This position will report to the Assistant Vice President of Student Financial Services. A successful candidate must have a strong record of managing financial aid management and will possess a comprehensive knowledge of federal, state and University financial aid policies, procedures, and regulations. They must demonstrate highly developed skills in complex financial analysis, monitoring, reporting and control, as well as superior management skills needed to maximize organizational resources and improve the customer experience; review, update, and document policies, procedures, and practices for the financial aid application, awarding, and packaging. |
Responsibilities |

Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree, plus 5 years related experience, 4 of which are in a financial aid office with supervisory capacity; experience with the administration of federal student financial aid programs; and working knowledge of automated financial aid delivery systems, COD, (SCT Banner preferred). Willingness to actively participate in expanding SFS data analytics capacity. Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, organizational and analytical skills are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills are vital.
