| Position Title | ASSISTANT DIRECTOR/MULTIMEDIA SERVICES |
| Position Summary | This position reports to the Director of Multimedia Services and is responsible for the following duties: Creation of digital content (videos, motion graphics, static graphics and audio-only recordings) for social media platforms, in-arena game productions and facility signage displays; serve as a primary content creator and editor for Chippewa Sports Network (CSN) Digital; serves as the primary coordinator of gameday production elements including live production, scripting, videoboard elements, PA scribe, promotional elements and music; serves as talent for multimedia and radio live broadcasts. |
| Required Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree in broadcasting, digital media or related field. One year of experience in live sports broadcasting production. Athletic broadcasting play-by-play experience (radio or on-camera). Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite. Editing and compositing skills. Deadline and detail-oriented. Strong communication and planning skills. Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. |

| Duties & Responsibilities | Content creator for all videoboard displays that CMU Athletics operates. Content includes videos, motion graphics and static graphics. Builds content for all CMU social media channels including videos, graphics and audio-only recordings. Builds and manages content for digital displays throughout CMU Athletic Facility; primary manager for the videowall in the Chippewa Champions Center and also manages the facilities other 15+ multimedia displays. Supervisor and editor for day-to-day CSN Digital game highlights, on-demand content, insiders, and recruiting features with head coach. Coordinator of gameday production elements including live production, scripting, videoboard elements, PA scribe, promotional elements and music. Serves as talent for multimedia and radio live broadcasts including ESPN3 broadcasts, CSN Digital broadcasts, CSN Digital on-demand content, and special feature content. Serves as primary contact for additional talent and WMHW-FM (CMU’s student radio station). Manages CMU Podcast Network. Other duties as assigned. |
