About the Department
The Master of Science in Analytics (MScA) program is a graduate program within the Data Science Institute at The University of Chicago. The purpose of the MScA program is to train and educate students in aspects of Data Science and Analytics that are critical for positions in industry. Designed for professionals with backgrounds in technical fields who want to become data scientists with rigorous classes, expert instructors, leading-edge technology, and an unparalleled network of industry professionals. As such, it aims to be innovative in its methods and to respond both to changes in technology and to changes in the needs of the world of industry. Job Summary
The Assistant Director is responsible for the establishment and maintenance of industry partnerships for the Master of Science in Analytics (MScA) program. Develops strategies to enhance existing partnerships and build new partnerships. Works collaboratively to facilitate relationships with relevant employers and MScA capstone project sponsors. Develops relationships and collaborates with the Data Science Institute team, University offices, and other similar programs within the Physical Sciences Division to continue to enhance industry partnerships and create additional opportunities for MScA students. This position is eligible for a partially remote work schedule and is based in the downtown Chicago NBC Tower campus.
