ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, DEVELOPMENT MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS, Sloan School of Management-Office of External Relations, to be responsible for the development of communications about all initiatives, including marketing collateral and customized proposals, and for editorial content for publications, the website, and other channels. Will  translate research into accessible language, serve as an advocate for MIT Sloan’s priorities, and identify creative ways to tell stories of impact to inspire philanthropy through various mediums.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED:  bachelor’s degree; at least three years’ experience in communications or resource development roles, preferably in a higher education setting; strong analytical, research, interpersonal,  oral communication, and technical writing skills; ability to interact with colleagues at all levels of the organization, including senior leaders and faculty; ability to synthesize complex information into usable tools for fundraisers, with a particular focus on illustrating the impact of philanthropic support; and working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. PREFERRED:  familiarity with Advance, Drupal, InDesign, and iModules.  Job #22019-7
