General Summary:
Assists the faculty Graduate Program Director by overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program, one of two doctoral programs in the Department of Psychology of the College of Liberal Arts. Responsibilities: to maintain, compile, and share information about faculty, students, and alums needed to maintain program accreditation; to maintain records of faculty activities and student progress as required for university, accreditation, and licensure; to implement the admissions process; to prepare and manage program budgets; to complete purchasing; to plan and organize program events (including some which occur outside of business hours or on weekends); to coordinate the work of the program’s leadership committees; to provide administrative support and guidance to graduate students as they navigate the university procedures; to prepare the program newsletter, website, and other communications independently for the Director’s approval; to organize the course evaluation and qualifying examination processes; to coordinate administrative elements of student hiring (including meeting Union and Human Resources documentation requirements), student grants and fellowships, student practica and internship placements, student awards, fundraising, and in other domains as assigned. Work collaboratively with other Psychology Department staff. Serve as a program liaison to other offices on campus, including Accounting, the Bursar, Financial Aid, the Registrar, the Office of the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts, the Office of Graduate Studies, and the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs. Supervise student administrative support when available.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of five to seven (5-7) years of professional work experience in an academic or equivalent departmental setting, which must have included one year of financial management experience, is required. Master’s Degree in higher education administration or a related social science discipline is preferred.
