Assistant/Associate Professor of Psychology

Salary: Up to $54,000 for Assistant Professor and up to $60,000 for Associate Professor, as per CBA

Description
Responsibilities will include teaching both General Education and upper division courses in psychology. The candidate must demonstrate commitment to teaching psychological statistics and research methods at the undergraduate level, with a focus on experimental methods, and to serving as the primary experimental methods consultant for research in the department. Although there is some flexibility in the actual course load, we require a candidate who will be able to teach content courses that will complement existing departmental strengths; in addition to teaching statistics and experimental methods, we seek candidates who have the expertise to offer coursework in some combination of the following: physiological and/or neuropsychology, cognitive psychology, comparative psychology, and the introductory course. Teaching duties are likely to include directing capstone projects including theses and internships, as well as teaching other courses as departmental needs demand.
