Assessment and Awards Lead (Clinical)

Salary: Grade 8 £36,386 – £42,155 per annum together with USS pension benefits
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Post is for 35 hours per week
Location: Predominantly based at the Singleton Park Campus however the role holder may occasionally be required to work at the St David’s Park Campus

The Assessment and Awards Lead (Clinical) will work with the Academic Quality and Assessment Manager to deliver a high quality service coordinating, leading and delivering high quality professional support and management services.

The post holder is responsible for ensuring all the professional service delivery activities within the Academic Quality and Assessment team within the Faculty are led & managed in accordance with all University policies and procedures, governance and constitutional frameworks.

Constantly striving to improve performance and added value of professional services, with accountability for enabling policy & process improvements and utilising management information to drive efficiencies and synergies in this area of the Faculty.

The Assessment and Awards Lead (Clinical) will develop the professional service support appropriately, aligned to the specialisms in the Faculty within which they are based and will be a key leader within the Faculty Education team driving and sustaining the highest levels of excellence in professional operational leadership.

This role will suit applicants with a keen eye for detail and who able to focus on specific tasks. They need to be capable of planning and working with academic and professional services staff to ensure the smooth running of the Faculty degree programmes within the academic year.
