| Department Summary | The College of Health and Public Service (HPS) at the University of North Texas, distinguished as one of the few Tier One research universities designated as a Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI), prepares graduates to address diverse and complex social issues such as aging, disability, disaster management and recovery, criminal justice, health disparities, and public safety, and find solutions to challenges in public administration, public health, and urban design. As a component of the educational program, the department operates the UNT Speech and Hearing Center, which offers professional services to members of our campus community and the general public for the purpose of providing clinical training for students. The Center offers state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment of speech, language, and hearing disorders. ASLP is seeking a Clinic Office Support Associate to join the HPS family. |
| Position Summary | The Clinic Office Support Associate provides administrative support for the clinical office and general clinic operations at the UNT Speech & Hearing Center under the overall direction of the SLP and AuD clinic directors. This person serves as the primary backup for the Front Desk Coordinator (as needed) and assistant to the Medical Billing & Coding Specialist (as needed). The Administrative Assistant works collaboratively with the Medical Billing Specialist, Front Desk Coordinator and student office workers to maintain efficient clinic operations. Duties include:
