Arts and Cultural Administrator

Are you ready for a new challenge with a great team in an ambitious University? We’re looking for someone to join our Library and Cultural Services team and provide excellent administrator skills to support the work of the University’s Theatre.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for external suppliers and customers of the University Theatre. You will provide professional and efficient administrative support to the theatre and you will lead specified projects linked to arts and cultural activities.
Our Library and Cultural Services people are resourceful and passionate about providing an excellent and evolving service to the University’s approximately 36,000 students and 5,000 staff. Our Cultural Services include Manchester Poetry Library, Special Collections Museum and North West Film Archive. We also provide service for the University Theatre.

The Cultural Services are part of the university library and exist to add value to learning, teaching and research at Manchester Met.
This is a 12 month Fixed Term role. The role may include some Saturday working during term time.

In recognition of staff contributions to the University’s achievements during the 2021/2022 academic year, an additional discretionary payment of 2% per annum will be added to your salary until 31/07/23 in order to ensure consistency amongst existing and incoming staff. This additional 2% will be paid pro rata in equal monthly installments, on top of your salary each month until 31/07/23.
