Contrôle conditionnel et itératif. Modules et passage de paramètres. Récursivité. Structures de données fondamentales : tableaux, chaînes de caractères, matrices et enregistrements. Introduction aux objets. Applications aux diverses disciplines, incluant le génie.

Postulants réguliers doivent avoir obtenu un doctorat et il devrait être obtenu dans un domaine pertinent à la matière du cours, particulièrement quand le cours soit plus spécialisé (ou expérience du travail dans un domaine relié après avoir obtenu le doctorat).
