The incumbent will offer courses in second language teaching in both official languages. The workload consists of 18 teaching credits (equivalent to six courses) at the undergraduate (Second Language Teaching / Enseignement des langues secondes, SLT/ELS) and graduate levels. Three credits are also awarded for administrative activities in support of student success in the Faculty of Education.

The candidate must:
Hold a doctorate in second language teaching;
Have a record of recent publications in the field of second-language teaching;
Be able to teach in a variety of modalities (face-to-face, online and hybrid);
Have a solid knowledge of French and English, in both reception and production;
Have the necessary skills to teach various courses in the SLT/ELS program or at the graduate level, such as:
The University may consider experience or qualifications deemed equivalent to the above requirements.
Five-year contract with the equivalent of seven courses per academic year (21 credits), with an assessment after three years.
