We value the diverse talents and experiences our employees bring to Patterson and believe that they build a stronger and successful organization.As an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) for Animal Health International, you are responsible for generating and increasing sales through inbound and outbound sales calls, while handling inbound customer calls with professionalism, skill and expediency. This is an in person position located in Sioux Center, IA.Responsibilities includeMake regular outbound calls to assigned customers/territoriesGenerate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information to customers in a timely mannerIdentify customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and/or solutionsUse appropriate selling tactics such as up-selling and cross-selling when needed.Educate customers about product features and benefits to grow sales and improve customer satisfactionGenerate referrals from current customers and manufacturers’ representatives.Maintain a current knowledge of consumer preferences, company products, programs, market conditions, and competitionEnsure accuracy of customer transactions in order entry system such as orders, quotes, returns, etcMaintain accurate customer and territory records; document all customer interactions and potential sales opportunitiesGain understanding of and adhere to Accounts Receivables policies and practicesRun sales reports for all sales activity.Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely deliveryVerify price and terms in accordance with standard procedures and customer profitability profilesMultitask and work within multiple computer systems and communication platforms simultaneouslyQualificationsAssociate’s Degree in Animal Science, Ag, Ag Business or related fields, or equivalent work experienceProven customer service and organization skillsMeasurable accuracy and strong attention to detail.Demonstrated verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsGeneral computer proficiency including knowledge of MS OfficePreferred QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, Ag, Ag Business or related fieldsInside sales experience; previous success exceeding sales goals is a plusProficiency in SAPWe provide competitive benefits, unique incentive programs and rewards for our eligible employees:Full Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits and an integrated Wellness Program.401(k) Match Retirement Savings Plan.Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).Paid Time Off (PTO).Holiday Pay & Floating Holidays.Volunteer Time Off (VTO).Educational Assistance Program (Tuition Reimbursement).Full Paid Parental and Adoption Leave.LifeWorks (Employee Assistance Program).Patterson Perks Program.EEO StatementAs a people-first company, Patterson promotes a culture that embodies and celebrates diversity and inclusivity.
