Your Opportunity

The Analyst, Global HR Projects & Compliance – HR Talent Services is a key contributor to a variety of HR projects, providing data reporting and analysis, system expertise and valuable guidance on continuous process improvements and efficiencies. This role is responsible for the delivery and documentation of projects and processes within the Projects & Compliance team’s portfolio, in addition may be responsible for leading some project work. The ability to create, manage, and maintain system and process documentation and supporting resources is key. Reporting to the Projects & Process Manager, you will collaborate with key HR and other Functional Services Team (FST) stakeholders as required to ensure accurate project direction.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the Vice President, Mergers & Acquisitions, Human Resources of the Corporate Development team, responsible for data management and analysis, reporting, preparation of employee facing materials, and interim process development through the full life cycle of Stantec’s mergers and acquisitions strategy.

  • Conduct in-depth research, analysis and reporting to ensure the accuracy and success of other HR projects.

  • Supports and/or lead HR projects that support Stantec HR business practices.

  • Development and maintenance of various tools, templates, process maps and supporting documentation to ensure compliant and effective HR systems and processes.

  • Partnering with other stakeholders across HR as well as other FST groups (Corporate Development, IT, Finance, etc.) to ensure a collaborative and successful approach to projects.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, writing and communication skills.

  • Ability to set priorities and work effectively in a constantly changing environment.

  • Must be a highly motivated self-starter.

  • Proactive, positive, and solutions focused.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proficient MS Office Suite skills required; advanced Excel skills preferred.

  • HRMP, SPHR, PHR or CHRP preferred.

Education and Experience

  • Post-secondary degree in HR Management, Business or a related discipline preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years HR and technical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.

  • Experience with HRIS Systems (preferably Oracle).

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.

Pay transparency laws require employers to provide the following information for positions that may be in the following jurisdiction(s):

Salary Range(s):

  • Lower Mainland $76,100 – Lower Mainland $110,300 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in BC (Lower Mainland includes Vancouver & Burnaby)

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
