Advice Zone Assistant

The Advice Zone provides an efficient and professional first point of contact to students via an Enquiry Management System, telephone, email or face to face at each of the University campus sites.

Advice Zone Assistants deal with confidential information and should at all times remain professional and use excellent judgement to know when to refer to specialist advice and support services .  Working as an efficient and flexible team, Advice Zone Assistants also need to be able to work autonomously and make independent decisions. 

Advice Zone Assistants are passionate about making a difference to the student experience through providing excellent customer service.

The university is currently operating a hybrid working model. There will be a requirement to work flexibly at all campus sites to ensure that the service is staffed appropriately during advertised opening hours.   It is anticipated however that most campus days will be scheduled on the Treforest campus. 

This is a full time, permanent post.

If you are a successful candidate and this position will be your first professional services role at the University (or you are currently employed by PSS Ltd), you will be employed by Professional and Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of South Wales, which provides services to the University and Colleges.  If you are an internal professional services candidate, you will be continue to be employed by the University of South Wales.
