Adobe Platform Lead

Overview:

  • Full-time, Continuing position
  • Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, and hybrid ways of working
  • New position for our Architecture & Software Engineering team

About the role

As the Adobe Platform Lead you will be responsible for the maintenance and future state planning of RMIT’s Adobe product suite, including (but not limited to) Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Marketing Cloud and Adobe Commerce. You will also produce and execute roadmaps for the base platforms underpinning RMIT’s websites, digital retail and marketing functions.

In the role, you will assist Release Management with release, collaborate with the Adobe Platform Architect and the Development & Support squads and Adobe Managed Services to maintain platform integrity.

You will also partner with the DevOps Lead and the Environment Manager to help advance RMIT’s latest DevSecOps practices in the Adobe space.

 

About you

You will have significant experience with Adobe Experience Manager (essential), Adobe Commerce (desirable) and Adobe Marketing Cloud (desirable).

Strong experience in cloud deployment and management (especially AWS)

Showcase significant experience in a similar role managing platform health and performance.

Experience working in an Agile/DevOps culture and an understanding of CI/CD practices and tools (e.g. Jenkins, AWS CodePipelines)

Solid understanding of operations observability principles

Substantial experience in debugging or troubleshooting complex problems while providing effective progress communications and fault escalation procedures.

Proven ability to successfully participate as a productive team member, mentor, and work autonomously as required
