ORGANIZATIONAL SUMMARY:
The Division of Student Success at the University of South Florida is comprised of 60 departments, providing students with academic support, engagement opportunities, health & wellness services and enhancement of the educational experience.
POSITION SUMMARY:
An Admissions Team Administrator manages a cohort of applicants for the Office of Admissions, including prospective applicants for alternative admissions. This position is responsible for the management and evaluation of admission applications for populations which require additional, complex review and which may include first time in college, transfer, and alternative admission applicants. This position will serve as a liaison with several departments, providing proactive and effective communication. This position will also participate in committees which include representatives from other departments.  This position will report to the Associate Director of Evaluations.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of admissions and enrollment processes and regulations. Experience in Banner is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage all aspects of application review for populations of applicants that require additional review, including applicants that may qualify for alternative admission under state regulations. Provides quality control on admissions decisions daily to ensure accuracy.
Serves as a liaison for one or more departments at the University. Effectively communicate detailed status updates for applicants that may qualify for alternative admission with programs that manage these populations upon enrollment.
Provide the direct supervisor a detailed file for all prospective applicants for alternative admission documenting whether requirements appear to be met with support from external resources and research.
Prepare all documentation necessary for committee review on alternative admission and participate in these meetings.
Review and process requests from applicants that may include residency classification, term of entry update, name change, or application cancellation.
Performs other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and three years of directly related work experience in Admissions or other related field; or, a Master’s degree and one year of directly related work experience in Admissions or other related field.
PREFERRED:
Masters Degree preferred
