The Admissions Manager will work closely with Director of Graduate Admissions and Enrollment and with the Admissions Program Coordinator to manage all aspects of recruitment and admissions from identification of prospects through the admissions process and matriculation.
Develop outreach plansto meet enrollment targets for Graduate Programs, this includes in person and virtual recruitment events.
Develop and manage the Graduate Division’s social media presence on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
Craft compelling content across social media. Liase with Public Affairs and Graphic Arts departments as needed to develop specialized content to highlight graduate programs.
Manage and develop content for the Graduate Division website. Work with Public Affairs to ensure Graduate Division website is up to date.
Analyze marketing campaigns and seek feedback to improve engagement from stakeholders.
Develop and implement electronic communication plans utilizing CRM software (Element451); develop information-driven, individualized electronic personal communications; ensuretimely follow-up communications with applicants and faculty advisors.
Develop marketing strategies for Graduate Programs including print materials, web presence, and email correspondence to prospective applicants.
Develop engaging email campaigns to undergraduate student groups and undergraduate faculty
Manage Graduate Division annual recruitment schedule and set up recruiting events. Travel for recruitment to college campuses in the U.S, as needed.
Maintain travel/outreach budget for Graduate Recruitment.
Identify prospective applicants through campus visits, national undergraduate research meetings, and various software packages.
Develop reports with outcomes of recruitment efforts, applicant pools, and enrollment
Coordinate off-campus recruitment visits for faculty and/or current graduate students
Respond to complex inquiries from prospective applicants, admitted students, and faculty during application and admissions process.
Assist with the development and maintenance of online application systems; including building out question sets, creating business rules, and ensuring accuracy of data.
Set up online application screening for Graduate Admissions Committee
Create electronic dashboard for high-level overview of each program admissions process
Supervise interview days; troubleshoot as necessary.
Coordinate activities of student ambassador committee.
Attend Graduate Admissions Committee meetings to provide support as necessary, may be asked to take minutes at Graduate Admissions Committee meetings.
Prepare admissions statistics tables for internal and external purposes; Prepare training grant tables as requested.
Present Admissions and Recruitment data to various committees and other meetings.
Education & Experience
Amaster’s degree or higher, and at least 3 years of experience required; preferably in a higher education setting such as admissions/recruitment or faculty/student affairs or advanced degree in biomedical sciences.

Experience providing a high level of customer service in a busy office environment
Extensive computer skills: proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop and maintaining content for websites (HTML)
Proficiency and experience working with databases and CRM systems
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to multi-task and make changes in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work evenings for recruitment and during application processing season
Ability to handle complex and confidential information with discretion
