Do you have strong administration experience ideally within the education sector (preferred) or within a busy back office function where organisation and communication are key? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!   

About our role:  

As Programme Support Administrator, you will enjoy supporting the Pathway Centre Manager in the day-to-day running of the Pathway Centre. Your role will be vital to help us develop University and QA Higher Education relationships to ensure that processes and procedures are accurately managed to support academic progression, attendance, compliance, student support and communications

Good IT, Word, and Excel skills a MUST – minute taking experience desirable. 

Here’s a flavour of what’s involved:

Programme administration to develop and maintain consistent and accurate monitoring, reporting, and providing feedback on the activities associated with student induction, attendance, academic performance, and assessment submission.

Programme set up on the Virtual Learning Environment, timetabling and room allocation

Academic procedures including recording of assessment marks, moderation, student progression, academic misconduct and preparation for academic boards.

Student support, to provide face to face, email or telephone support to students to become the first point of contact for all student academic, pastoral and systems access queries.  

To develop processes and procedures alongside the Pathway manager to ensure the highest level of customer service is being given be it by phone, email or face to face

Develop strong relationships with University teams (e.g. Admissions, International Team, Welfare and the Student Union) and to act as a liaison point between QAHE and the University ensuring that positive relationships are formed and effective communication is exercised.

Attend and minute meetings, academic reviews and assessment boards working, where required

To produce reports and disseminate student data as required (e.g. for QAHE Admissions and Recruitment)

Bring your experience:

Sound administrative experience preferably within the education sector

Experience of multi-tasking and delivery to agreed timescale

Experience of managing and prioritising workload

Excellent communication skills

Excellent literacy, numerical skills and Excel skills

Team player

Flexible and adaptable to change

Well organised and methodical
