| Job Description: |
Create purchase orders for service contracts and purchase office and lab supplies for RPL Admin, Endocrine, Molecular, Grossing, EM Lab, Core Lab, Metabolic Lab, Marketing, RPL faculty; as well as Student Health, Emerging Pathogens, and Central Florida. Provide administrative and project support for administration and departments/laboratories. Schedule meetings and take minutes, as requested, for administration and departments/laboratories. Process a variety of P-card charges including travel, encumbrances, reimbursements, submit travel approvals, make travel arrangements for faculty and staff and interviewees. Create itineraries for interviewees. Create, update and audit employee files as mandated by regulatory agencies, legal guidelines and university regulations. Coordinate updates in continuing education, training compliance certification and manage documentation/reports from events and training activities. Other requests from administration and departments/laboratories as appropriate. Help the other Administrative Support person as needed. |
| Expected Salary: |
Salary is between $17.00 – $19.00 per hour |
| Minimum Requirements: |
High school diploma or equivalent and four years of relevant experience. |
| Preferred Qualifications: |
Ability to quickly learn various aspects of Lab Operations. Communication skills which will allow the prospective employee to interact with UF physicians, non-medical staff and other health and administrative professionals in a professional manner. |
