JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Academic Affairs and Development Offices at Penn State York is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Administrative Support Assistant level 3. The Administrative Support Assistant will be a detailed-oriented and organized individual who will provide direct administrative and professional support to faculty, staff, and students.
Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate academic special programs and meetings
-
Maintain listservs, directories, databases, faculty offices hours, and syllabi collection
-
Coordinate campus award nominations each spring
-
Compile, coordinate, and verify campus-wide data for the commencement program
-
Comprehensive oversight of the online SRTE process for the campus
-
Coordinate and process purchase requests for Academic Affairs and the Development Office
-
Process and record gifts made to the campus
-
Prepare and analyze prospect tracking data for review by the Director of Development
-
Answer, screen, direct, and/or process routine and complex inquiries from internal and external constituents
-
Communicating and collaborating with counterparts within the college and/or university
-
The ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously is essential
-
The willingness to adapt to dynamic situations will be critical.
Education:
-
High School diploma
-
Or higher plus two years of related experience
-
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
-
Post-high school education and additional experience and/or education and competencies are preferred.
Qualifications:
-
Highly motivated, organized
-
Detail-oriented while having professional written and verbal communication skills
-
Excellent interpersonal skills, and a teachable spirit.

Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required.
