| Job Summary | The School of Communication Sciences and Disorders is one of ten units that make up the Faculty of Health. The School offers nationally accredited Master’s degrees in both audiology and speech-language pathology with options for both thesis and project-based degrees and which sees applicants from across Canada and internationally. Reporting to the Administrative Manager, this position provides administrative support to the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders (SCSD) Director, Graduate Coordinator, Administrative Manager, faculty members, sessional lecturers, Chairs for the Admissions Committee and Committee on Studies, and graduate students. |

| Note | The successful applicant will be eligible for hybrid work (combination of in-person work on campus and remote work) as agreed by all parties based on operational requirements and university guidelines. Dalhousie’s vaccine mandate has been suspended at this time, and employees no longer need to provide proof of full vaccination. However, health and safety risks to our community will continue to be monitored and a vaccine mandate may be reinstated if necessary. |
| Qualifications | Business/office/health administration diploma with approximately two to three years’ related experience (or equivalent combination of training and experience) is required. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) is required. Experience with data entry is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills required. Ability to work independently, be highly organized and to prioritize work is required. |
