We are offering an exciting opportunity for somebody with suitable experience to join the Student and Education Services (SES) as an Administrative Officer within our Faculty of Arts and Humanities Curriculum & Quality Assurance (CQA) Team. The CQA Team provides high level guidance and supports all regulatory aspects of the Taught and Research programmes associated with our two schools, Arts and Humanities.

You will work closely with the Senior Administrative Officers within CQA, key academic staff and colleague across SES. This specialist administration team supports the Faculty in the preparation for validation of new and existing undergraduate and postgraduate taught curricula, Postgraduate Research programme development, student communications and representation, statutory and regulatory body monitoring, committee servicing and implementation of academic regulations and processes.  

Major elements of the post will be to support the Senior Administrative Officers to deliver an effective and efficient service to beneficiaries and stakeholders, applying a detailed knowledge of systems and processes and regulatory frameworks. To establish and maintain effective working relationships with academic staff within the Faculty and other colleagues in Professional Services.

You will be an excellent team player with experience and a proven ability to work proactively. You will be well organised and adaptable, taking a positive approach in reviewing processes and practices. You will possess excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service is also required. You will also have experience of processing and analysing complex data sets using multiple systems. You must also be a competent user of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.

The salary range provides an indication of the incremental progression in the role. The starting salary will be £22,149 and will increment annually.
