The University of Southern California Marshall School of Business seeks a self-motivated, high energy, innovative problem solver, to play a key role in the administrative operations of the Center for Investment Studies (CIS).
The Center for Investment Studies is a forum for students to acquire experiential learning, faculty to conduct research and industry practitioners to share valuable insights in the area of Investment Management. The Administrative Assistant will perform specialized support services in the administrative operations of the Center. The administrative support functions include planning and organizing support for CIS Board of Advisor meetings and annual Graduate and Undergraduate Student Investment Funds meetings, assisting in producing correspondences and documents for internal and external offices, maintaining databases and related records, and managing the Center’s budget. The administrative assistant will organize and expedite the flow of work through supervisor’s office; initiate follow-up action; serve as resource to student inquiries relating to academic schedule and others on departmental and university procedures. The Administrative Assistant will also interact with the University offices and/or supervisor’s employees to facilitate communications and information exchange. The Administrative Assistant will report to the Director, Center for Investment Studies.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree; Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education
Minimum Experience: 3 years
Minimum Field of Expertise: Secretarial or specialized clerical and administrative experience.
