UPCI Hematology Oncology – Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh – (22008150)
This position provides high-level administrative assistance to 6 faculty members of the Division of Hematology/Oncology. The individual will assist faculty members with management of complex appointment schedules, travel itineraries, and other high-level activities associated with their administrative roles. In addition, the incumbent will assist in the preparation of grants, protocols, manuscripts, creating correspondence, preparing slide presentations, printing daily clinic schedules, and triaging telephone calls consisting of both patient-related and academic questions.
Other duties include: prepare program conferences and seminars as well as logistical arrangements for conferences and speakers; complete travel reimbursement, disbursement, and purchase requisitions; order office supplies; provide back-up support in the recruitment of faculty (e.g. creating itineraries, logistics, on-site contact, etc.).
Associate’s degree or completion of a business program. Extensive experience may substitute for degree. Must have administrative experience in a professional/academic setting.
