Adjunct Lecturer in Law – Music Law in Practice

The USC Gould School of Law is seeking an adjunct lecturer to teach Music Law in Practice. This one-unit course covers the legal, analytical, and client management skills required to service music industry clients of all kinds in all areas of the music industry, including recording, publishing, live performance, digital, agents and managers, television, film, and media uses of music, digital radio, Youtube, and social media.

Candidates for this position must have a JD and at least five years of experience, including experience relevant to the subject matter.

This is a residential course, which requires teaching on campus.

USC reserves the “Adjunct” appointment for faculty teaching less than full-time at USC, who are employed full-time in a primary profession or career elsewhere. Adjunct faculty typically teach only one course per year but, in exceptional cases, may teach one course per semester, if approved by the dean.
