Adjunct Instructor of Real Estate Careers Preparation

The USC Sol Price School of Public Policy is seeking a working professional with expertise and a primary position in commercial real estate careers preparation. The successful candidate will be able to teach an undergraduate-level course on career assessment and planning; an overview of the commercial real estate industry and career path options; and professional development skills.

Minimum requirements: Advanced degree (such as MS Human Resources, MBA, MRED) preferred. Candidates without a graduate degree may be considered with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in human resources at commercial real estate firms engaged in institutional quality tranThe candidate must also have significant professional experience in commercial real estate human resources. Preference given to candidates with prior teaching experience and excellent teaching evaluations.

Adjunct instructor responsibilities include delivery of course content, scheduling office hours and being accessible to students as appropriate, and grading. Each instructor is expected to provide students with a syllabus outlining the course goals, schedule, and all requirements for the course under the direction of the Department Chair.
