Adjunct Instructor – Mathematics

Berkeley College is currently seeking highly qualified and motivated part-time instructors to teach Mathematics courses in the Division of General Education. The current openings are for ONSITE sections (New Jersey and New York) in Winter, 2023 semester.

Classes begin January 3, 2023, and end April 15, 2023. 

Requirements for the position are:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Mathematics or Mathematics Education.
  • Demonstrated success in teaching Mathematics at an institution of higher education.
  • Demonstrated success in both onsite and online course design and teaching.
  • Experience using a Learning Management System such as Canvas.
  • Experience using technology and interactive electronic materials to support teaching and learning.
  • Superb skills with student engagement and with online/onsite learning environment administration and management.

For Onsite and Hybrid Sections:

  • A willingness to travel and teach at multiple campuses across NY and NJ, if applicable.
  • Availability to teach classes during the day, the evening and/or the weekend.
