Job Description Summary Lewis University’s Department of Music seeks an adjunct guitar instructor beginning  January 2023. The instructor will teach applied guitar to majors and non-majors and actively engage in recruiting. Salary is competitive to other adjunct positions in area, and additional classroom teaching opportunities may become available.

-Teach one or more classes-Availability to hold office hours and meet with other faculty members, department chair, or directors when necessary-Serve as a model of professionalism and act as a resource for students within the teaching-learning environment.
Minimum Qualifications Masters degree is required.

With administrative support, direct recruitment efforts for the orchestra
Serve as a model of professionalism and act as a resource for students within the teaching-learning environment.
Minimum Qualifications Masters degree or extensive experience is required. Strong technology skills and college teaching experience preferred. Strong commitment to teaching and recruitment.
