Adjunct Instructor for Writing


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Candidates will be evaluated on suitability of their graduate-level academic coursework and preparation, past teaching experiences, expertise and experience relevant to the effective teaching of their specific field, and potential for providing high-quality instruction to undergraduate students in English courses at Mat-Su College.
Typical Experience:
Evidence of having successfully taught at least 6 credit hours of English and/or Writing classes at the college level is preferred.
Required Education or Training:

Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Masters in English, Composition and Rhetoric, or Creative Writing.

Salary Information:

Salary is based on the number of previous semesters teaching experience within the University of Alaska.

This is a pooled position, which means that the position remains open over the entire academic year.
