The University of Pittsburgh School of Law seeks an adjunct instructor to teach the following seminar on health care quality and compliance as part of the online Health Care Compliance Certificate Program.  

Course Description:  QUALITY COMPLIANCE

This two-week seminar will provide an overview of the key components and importance of quality, while incorporating techniques to continuously improve and transform a health care system.  Students will explore critical quality issues at the organizational and microsystem levels, and detail current strategies, tactics, and methods for understanding quality.  The class will discuss foundational health care quality principles, and look at practical tools necessary for measuring quality, improving health care performance, and promoting transparency of clinical pathways and outcomes.

Salary:  $750

Requirements:  JD or Masters’ degree in a related field and at least 5 years compliance experience
