Job Description:

Adjunct Instructor Needed for Summer 2023

Subject area: Clinical Chemistry for Medical Laboratory Technician program

The Medical Laboratory Technician program offers a clinical chemistry course to introduce students to the chemical principles and testing and analysis protocols and equipment they will encounter in a clinical laboratory. The Clinical Chemistry course is also part of the curriculum that prepares graduates of the Medical Laboratory Technician program to take the CLT/MLT certification exam.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree or higher in Science or closely related field.
• ASCP certified.
• Teaching and clinical practice experience with background sufficient to teach theoretical and laboratory content in a Medical Laboratory Technician program preferred.
• Experience teaching Chemistry at the college level; community college teaching experience preferred.
• Proven ability to work with diverse faculty, staff and student populations.
• Online or remote teaching experience preferred.

Additional Information:

Compensation: $1,291.00 per lecture credit.
