Department Summary | The Department of Physician Assistant Studies is seeking a Clinical Physician Assistant for an Adjunct Assistant Professor position to act as a Regional Clinical Hub Coordinator in the Texas Hill Country region. The most competitive applicant will be a team player, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and prior experience precepting PA students. This position is secured through August 31, 2023 with the possibility of extension. |
Position Summary | Position responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Acquiring and maintaining preceptor relationships at clinical rotation sites in the Texas Hill Country Region • Obtaining evaluations from preceptors in a timely manner • Grading assignments and conducting assessments pertaining to rotations sites acquired • Performing site visits in the Texas Hill Country Region • Communicating with the clinical team on the status of clinical rotation sites through virtual or in-person meetings as applicable • Occasional travel to Fort Worth campus for activities related to clinical year • Other scholarly activities as assigned |

Minimum Qualifications | * Applicants must have a terminal degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field * Applicants must currently hold or be eligible for PA licensure in Texas. * Current NCCPA certification is required. * Must work clinically in the Texas Hill Country Region |
