Advanced Building ProductsAccounting and Human Resources SpecialistSanford, MaineAdvanced Building Products is seeking an Accounting and Human Resources Specialist to work onsite in their Sanford, Maine office. This is an exciting growth opportunity to partner with the Chief Financial Officer and have responsibility for the financial processing of transactions for the company.\nRequirements of the Accounting and Human Resources Specialist:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Competency in Sage 100 accounting systems.
  • Advanced Excel and data entry skills.
  • Ability to work onsite fulltime 8am-5pm in Sanford, Maine.

Responsibilities of the Accounting and Human Resources Specialist:

  • Accounts Receivable function including A/R inbox, desktop deposits, cash collections and sending invoices.
  • Receive, research, resolve inquiries concerning account status.
  • Accounts Payable functions including processing and entering invoice approvals and that GL coding is accurate.
  • Assist with reconciling vendor statements.
  • Human Resources functions including processing new hires and create personnel files, manage payroll files.
  • Maintain employee handbook and answer HR questions.
  • Work with Chief Financial Officer to review and administer employee benefits.
  • Coordinate payroll processing.
