Monthly Responsibilities: Prepare inventory analysis and reconciliation to explain changes in inventory account balances for monthly and quarterly for financial reporting; ensure balance sheet accounts accurately reflect financial position Prepare monthly journal entries for accrual of blocked goods receipts, physical inventory reserve, and parts reallocation as required in SAP Confirm monthly consumption of parts and components inventory to cost of goods sold is accurately reflected in the financial statements Monthly analysis of Bill of Material changes, investigating and confirm changes, variances to forecast. Analyze in-house service and production part sales and costs and explaining the change versus forecast and prior year monthly. Completing year over year actual variance analysis for all accounts under SLDM (sales less direct material) for monthly financial reporting to management Quarterly Responsibilities: Forecast preparation and analysis o Using updated financial assumptions on SLDM such as vehicle selling pricing, sourcing, and build of material (parts and components) costing information; and build this information into forecast plan o Analyze results of forecast and explain change points to management o Prepare management financial results presentations Projects: Lead company-wide physical inventory count of parts and components o Preparing and training team members on count procedures o Analyzing count results versus stock ledger; investigating discrepancies Calculate annual and ad hoc in-house service and production part pricing build up Inputting vehicle sales pricing, and assisting with resolving vehicle pricing discrepancies and clearing accounts receivable as needed Ensure all policies within cost accounting are followed; SOX Business level controls are followed Assisting with auditor requests; and assisting with preparation of annual financial statements with auditors relating to inventory and part/components cost accounts
