POSITION SUMMARY

The main purpose of this role is to execute all accounting operations activities for Nestlé Business Services in a timely manner and according to agreed key performance indicators. The role also focuses on driving excellence in accounting operations by implementing best practices and ensuring business and internal controls are in place. The individual in this role will propose change initiatives to improve operational efficiency, ensure accurate and timely reconciliations and period end close, and identify and address open items in balance sheet accounts. Additionally, they will ensure that magnitude schedules are prepared accurately and on time, in compliance with Nestlé Internal Balance Sheet Standards and Nestlé Accounting Standards, to maintain financial accuracy of accounts.

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

  • Execute in-scope processes on time and with the highest level of quality. This includes Intercompany Accounting activities, Cash Management & Treasury activities, Fixed Assets accounting, General ledger activities, Period-End-Close activities, Internal & Reporting activities.

  • Produce business reports for verification and review by Accounting Operations Supervisor and distribute the reports according to the agreed market periodicity and Period-End-Close.

  • Ensure that performance service level agreements (SLA’s) and key performance indicators of services (KPI’s) are as per agreed by GNBS and the market.

  • Analyze accounts fully and propose adjustments if needed.

  • Execute the processes in line with business compliance and internal controls.

  • Participate in internal and external benchmarking of operations performance as and when instructed by NBS regional management.

What will make you successful…

  • 0-2 years of similar experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or any related field.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Excel).

  • Knowledge of financial reporting systems, such as SAP is a plus.

  • Strong Communication and Negotiation skills.

  • Business acumen and ability to understand sales dynamics.

  • Resilience and ability to work under pressure.

  • Agility and adaptability to manage diverse regions.

  • Fluency in both English and Arabic languages is required.
