Summary

This position will work closely with the Administrator of the Duncan Cancer Center. Primary duties include account reconciliations, budget revisions and transfers, reporting and budget. This position monitors accounts to ensure spending and balances are on track as budgeted and planned for FY while also handling special projects and accounts associated with the Cancer Centers CCSG grant.

 

Position offers the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement.

Job Duties

– Prepares monthly reports for PIs and administrator/director, helps manage, review and prepare budgets for CCSG grant.
– Maintains updated accounts (structure/transfers/revisions); works with departments across the college to allocate, update, and budget accounts and staff allocations to multiple sources.
– Reviews accounts daily and monitors spending and requests on cross dept. spending and shared accounts to ensure spending as budgeted.   
– Processes accounting requests as directed by center leadership, creating new accounts, budget revisions, funds transfers.
– Assists with grants related duties as needed including but not limited to monthly & annual budget process, deposits, SRM and SAP approvals.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with federally funded grant accounts.
