The Residential Experience Division has an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to support the Division’s operation plan by providing high quality financial services.  

The Residential Experience Division, within the Service Portfolio, delivers on ANU strategic priorities relating to on-campus student accommodation, providing different rooms across 18 residences, for over 5,500 students. The team works closely with a number of areas across the University to provide a safe and welcoming environment to enable students to achieve their highest academic outcomes.  Key partners include the University Experience Division (student safety, well-being support and clinical services), Facilities and Services, academic colleges and service partners such as finance and information technology. 

Position overview  

Working with a small and centralised team, the position assists all ANU Residences and affiliates with accounting, financial monitoring and reporting.  

The ideal candidate will have experience with financial reporting, reconciliation, management analysis, forecast and budgets. Attention to detail, time management, strong numerical and analytical skills are key requirements for this role. Experience in the use and development of financial management information systems and using MS Excel is highly desirable.
