The Residential Experience Division have an exciting opportunity for Accommodation Facilities Officers role to join the team on casual basis to;

– provide assistance to the ANU Residences teams to conduct scheduled inspections of student room, common areas and other facilities.

– proactively identify and log any issues and ensure the tracking and reporting requirements are fulfilled.

– work across a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure a high level of customer service and delivery. 

Position overview

The Residential Experience Division, within the Service Portfolio, delivers on ANU strategic priorities relating to on-campus student accommodation, providing different rooms across 18 residences, for over 5,500 students. The team works closely with a number of areas across the University to provide a safe and welcoming environment to enable students to achieve their highest academic outcomes.  Key partners include the University Experience Division (student safety, well-being support and clinical services), Facilities and Services, academic colleges and service partners such as finance and information technology.

Reporting to the Residential Projects Officer, the Accommodation Facilities Officer will assist the teams at the ANU Residences to conduct routine inspection for WH&S compliance, maintain asset management and audits to proactively identify maintenance issues and report accordingly.  We have an immediate need for casual rostered hours during November, December and January.  Successful applicants will also be considered for other casual roles and work throughout 2023.
