The Residential Experience Division have an exciting opportunity for an Accommodation Enquiry Officer to join the team on casual basis.

Accommodation Enquiry Officer: an experienced individual who thrives in an environment of helping our students and sometimes, their parents or guardians as they seek to apply for on-campus accommodation. The ability to manage high-volume of phone calls and emails. We are seeking individuals who are friendly and welcoming, have a strong customer service focus and are excited by the opportunity to support students and stakeholders from a wide variety of different countries, cultures and backgrounds, who are looking to make Canberra their home while they pursue their academic aspirations.

Position overview

The Residential Experience Division, within the Service Portfolio, delivers on ANU strategic priorities relating to on-campus student accommodation, providing different rooms across 18 residences, for over 5,500 students. The team works closely with a number of areas across the University to provide a safe and welcoming environment to enable students to achieve their highest academic outcomes.  Key partners include the University Experience Division (student safety, well-being support and clinical services), Facilities and Services, academic colleges and service partners such as finance and information technology.

Our Accommodation Services team is the first point of contact for our students who wish to reside on campus, taking initial enquiries about the accommodation facilities, through to the application and acceptance agreements.  We have an immediate need for casual rostered hours during November, December and January.  Successful applicants will also be considered for other casual roles and work throughout 2023.
