Job Description:
Champlain College is seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Accessibility Coordinator. This position reports directly to the Associate Director of Accessibility. This role works to ensure that eligible students receive appropriate accommodations and supportive services in compliance with federal regulations. The coordinator works in tandem with the Associate Director providing direct services to students with disabilities. Services provided include academic and housing accommodations, 1:1 weekly or bi-monthly meetings to provide extra support, and providing advocacy for the student when issues arise. The coordinator will also assist in creating and implementing retention programs for students with disabilities.
