2x Academic Services Officers

The Faculty is seeking to appoint two Academic Services Officers to provide high-quality professional support in the Academic Services Team for the delivery of academic services to students and academic staff, in particular through the management of undergraduate/postgraduate taught programmes, on-programme support and related services.

The post holders will work closely with academic colleagues responsible for these areas of activity, and with the Academic Services Manager in the effective and quality delivery of these services to students.  The role will include the forward planning of activities in the academic year for timely delivery of key activities and events in conjunction with academic colleagues; e.g. induction, module choices, NSS, assessment, annual reviews etc.

We are recruiting for 2 roles, both posts are full-time, however, a part-time job-share may be available. One post will be offered on a continuing basis, and the other will be 3 years fixed term. Experience of student and programme administration is desirable.

The Faculty encourages agile working where possible, so whilst the University campus will be your contractual place of work, and you will be required to attend the campus for defined activities, there will also be opportunities to adopt an element of agile working, for example some flexibility to working hours or location. This would be within defined parameters and with the agreement of your line manager.
