The Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Alberta is pleased to invite applications from academic radiologists for atenure-track position. Applications from qualified radiologists with a strong interest and proven scholarship in imaging and imaging education are welcome. The Faculty seeks expertise that complements its existing strengths. The successful candidate will initiate, lead, and collaborate in research activities, compete for external research funding, contribute to the Department’s undergraduate and graduate programs, including teaching and assisting with administration.

The candidate selected is expected to be appointed as a faculty member at the level of assistant professor.

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate has a

  • M.D.and FRCPC with subspecialty expertise and proven scholarship in diagnostic imaging and imaging education.
  • Eligible for licensure as a radiologist with the College of Physicians and Surgeons Alberta.
  • Proven record of high-quality research includingsuccessful grant funding.
  • Proven record of collaboration in multidisciplinary medical imaging teams.
  • Strong potential for productive interactions with researchers in medicine and in related disciplines at the University of Alberta.
