Your opportunity:
The International Pharmacy Graduate (IPG) program at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Toronto (U of T) is an academic bridging program that prepares internationally educated pharmacists to meet Canadian entry-to-practice requirements, and develop skills to care for patients as the profession evolves.
The IPG program is committed to ensuring academic excellence in pharmacy education, and providing a supportive learning environment. In addition to covering current and emerging topics in pharmacotherapy, pharmacy practice, and the Canadian healthcare system, learners will also gain critical language, workplace, and patient care skills necessary for licensure in Canada. This program is offered jointly with the School of Continuing Studies.
Working with the Academic Directors and Director, Strategic Initiatives, the Academic Program Manager will coordinate with staff, the School of Continuing Studies, the professional partners and academic faculty to ensure the IPG program is run optimally .
As the Academic Program Manager, you will analyze internal and external trends for the International Pharmacy Graduate (IPG) program and Pharmacy Continuing Education. The incumbent will also recommend educational programming improvements. You will plan components of education programs and coordinate tasks for projects and other strategic initiatives as well as facilitating educational workshops and seminars.
The ideal candidate will develop and implement components of instructional programs while conducting detailed analysis and evaluation to inform program planning. They will also serve as a resource and advise instructors on strategies for developing and delivering curriculum and evaluation strategies as well as developing resources on educational related matters for instructors, students and subject matter experts.

Pay Scale Group & Hiring Zone:
USW Pay Band 13 — $83,150 with an annual step progression to a maximum of $106,336. Pay scale and job class assignment is subject to determination pursuant to the Job Evaluation/Pay Equity Maintenance Protocol.
