Academic Marking Assistant

Coventry University is an outstanding University with a reputation for excellence in Teaching and Learning and a growing research profile. We have a key strategic focus in all areas of postgraduate studies relating to employability, teaching quality and growth. As part of this strategy, we have implemented bespoke taught professional development themes in the majority of our Postgraduate (Taught) courses, accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), to embed interdisciplinary learning in leadership and management.

Working with the Postgraduate Strategy Unit (PGSU) this role is to support the teaching team in the assessment of the postgraduate students’ professional development work within this CMI accredited provision.

We would like to hear from candidates with academic and professional experience in leadership and management with experience in teaching, learning and assessment at Master’s level and who want to join an innovative team. Our focus on professional development is wide ranging and candidates with a broad range of expertise in one or more the following areas will be of interest to us, leadership and management, entrepreneurial practice, organisational health and wellbeing, intercultural and transcultural development and interdisciplinary working.
