Academic Achievement Consultant


About the role

You will provide specialist expertise and support in student academic skills development enabling students to achieve their best academic outcomes.  Joining our expanding Academic Skills provision to form a new Centre for Academic Achievement, you will provide tailored 1-2-1 and small group support to students across disciplines, both in-person and online As part of the development of the Centre you will have the opportunity to shape an evolving and engaging new program of student support. You will advise senior staff on the academic skills requirements and development needs of students to inform operational and strategic planning.   

This is a key role in the Division, acting as an advocate for and promoting the Division’s role in supporting the University’s priorities in education.

About you

As the ideal applicant you will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have previous experience of supporting student learning and academic skills development in a HE or post-16 context. You will have demonstrable knowledge of the academic skills support needs of students, and the ability to provide advice that is tailored to an individual’s requirements across a wide range of academic skills topics.
