About the Position:
Extension and International Programs (EIP) collaborates with University departments and colleges on unique programs for students from the community and around the world. We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as the EIP Human Resources Coordinator (Administrative Support Coordinator II) to support Extension and International Programs. The ideal candidate in this role should have a positive attitude and an active, energetic mind that is characterized by highly ethical practices and a commitment to diversity, openness, flexibility, integrity, and kindness.

Under the general direction of the Senior Director for Extension and International Programs (EIP), the EIP HR Coordinator serves as the primary contact for EIP staff and managers regarding human resource, diversity, equity and inclusion issues. Provides guidance and supports EIP staff and managers, monitors and follows-up on all EIP HR activities with human resources including but not limited to: recruitments, new-hires, separations, leaves of absence, in-range progression requests, reassignments, position action forms (PAF), classification and compensation action requests (CCAR), and classification studies. Coordinates and supports all departmental staff, management and student assistant recruitments, hires, and on-boarding. Assists in interpreting policies and procedures related to human resources, diversity, equity and inclusion for EIP staff and managers. Serves as liaison between EIP and the divisional HR administrator, CSUF-HRDI and ASC-HR. Serves as the EIP Department IT Coordinator (DITC). Drafts and maintains procedures and reports, collects and evaluates data. Has access to, and exercises discretion concerning, sensitive information. May serve as lead to student assistant(s). Other duties as assigned.
