Our Information and Library Services Directorate delivers award winning IT services and support, library, academic and digital skills and learning enhancement to staff and students across the university. Our digital mission is to ensure everyone in our community is equipped to effectively use digital services, data and technology with confidence, efficiency and creativity in their learning, teaching, research and organisational support.

We are in search of an exceptional individual to join our Digital Service Delivery team as an IT Asset Analyst. This position will be a vital part of our newly established IT Asset Team, responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of university endpoint devices. This is a technical role ensuring the devices and configured, supported, repurposed and securely disposed of. 

The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience of PC/Laptop installation, configuration and support. Supporting users in a windows standard operating environment under Active Directory. They should also have significant experience of ITIL standards and using ITIL aligned IT Asset Management and IT Service Management tools.

This role demands excellent communication and collaboration skills along with proven IT diagnostic skills, including the use of remote support tools. As this is a busy role across multiple campuses you must possess excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage a wide varied workload. 

The role will be based on the Greenwich campus in London, but occasional travel to our Avery Hill and Medway Campuses in Kent will be necessary.
