We are currently seeking an 3D Application Scientist (m/f/d) who will be responsible for conduct experiments demonstrating feasibility and suitability of our new products for a variety of customer-focused applications.
What we’ll get you doing:
Planning and execution of application tests with breadboards, prototypes and pilot instruments and analysis and interpretation of test data
Prepare 3D-Model-Systems for applications and system development
Key role in product definition process
Establish collaborative relationships with key scientific leaders and partners in the field
Work across multiple disciplines to bridge scientific and instrument requirements and functionality
Travel to customer sites as required (up to 10%)
The essential requirements of the role include:
PhD in Cell Biology and at least 3 years of experience in life science applications
Understanding of software tools used in analyzing biological data (MetaXpress, ImageJ, Imaris, Matlab and Python)
Experience with imaging-based applications
Significant experience in working with stem cells, iPSC and adult stem cell derived organoids
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
The salary for this position is approx. € 60.000 p.a. gross (full-time) + attractive variable compensation scheme. The actual salary depends on qualifications and work experience.
